This cat was involved in “FOWL” play! 

We had a sweet, elderly feline friend in for a dental – upon admission, the owner had reported that her boy had been gagging unexpectedly! Concerned, we made sure to check this prior to starting his dental.

Low and behold, we found the issue! A chicken bone! This was lodged between the back of his throat which was causing discomfort.

Our cats are super sneaky creatures, so the owner was unaware he snacked on this ‘treat’. To prevent something like this happening to your pets, we recommended avoiding giving full carcasses or meals with small bones in it and to dispose of carefully.
